Service Advertising

RedNote Ads Management

Juguang (聚光) account opening, campaign setup, creative localization and optimization, run by a bilingual team in China.

Why an agency at all

The two walls this service exists for

The access wall

Juguang, the ads platform, has no self-serve path for foreign entities. Accounts open through authorized agencies, on a document chain: overseas company certificate, legal-representative ID, trademark certificate, an authorization letter when the operator differs from the holder, plus your website. With complete documents the opening takes 3 to 5 working days; category whitelisting stretches that.

The payment wall

Overseas cards and foreign bank accounts cannot fund Juguang directly. Budgets route through agency top-up, with cross-border remittance, invoicing and tax planning behind it. And the fapiao (the official invoice) issues only to the verified China-side entity, never to your overseas HQ: your agency and payment provider bridge that gap.

In our experience, foreign ad accounts die on paperwork: unclear or expired documents, a broken trademark chain, a category mismatch. So we start there, every time.

We run both walls daily. That is the service.

Deliverables

What the service covers

01

Account and access

Professional account verification, the Juguang document chain, and category whitelisting (报白) where your vertical needs it. We also advise on account type: brand zone and hot-search placements need the brand ad account, which carries a higher pre-charge and a direct contract.

02

Campaign setup

Structure by objective across the five Juguang campaign types as of mid-2026: brand exposure, clicks and engagement, product sales, DM lead generation, livestream traffic. For most brands we start with feed and search.

03

Creative localization

Notes-style creatives written in Chinese, not translated banners. Wording stays review-safe by design: absolutes and medical-efficacy claims are what get creatives rejected.

04

Reporting you can read

Spend, results by objective and in-app search visibility, in plain English, with the next test named.

Process

How we work

1

Fit and docs check

Category first, because some industries face review gates or higher thresholds. Then the document chain, before anything gets filed.

2

Opening and funding

Account opening through the agency path, then the first top-up routed cross-border. You approve budgets; we run the rails.

3

Launch and test

Campaigns go live against your objective with several creative variants. As of 2026, creative review often clears within hours and campaign review takes about one working day; standards shift, so treat timings as of submission.

4

Scale what works

Budget follows the winners, including your winning organic notes amplified through Juguang. Running ads and creators in separate silos is a budget waste we see constantly.

Pricing

Pricing model

Every quote has two lines: media spend and the service fee. For cross-border brands, agency service fees typically run 8 to 12% of spend; domestic-only accounts sit closer to 5 to 10%. Confirm the exact split in your agency agreement.

Ad accounts carry no deposit (保证金): that is a store concept. What ads do carry is a first-recharge floor: around 5,000 RMB at platform level, per current policy. Agency cross-border packages often start at 10,000 to 20,000 RMB; confirm against your agency agreement.

Smaller budgets can start on Juguang Lite, the reduced entry lane: partial keyword recommendations, still no search-term downloads as of 2026.

We quote itemized, with platform fee, heating (note boosting) spend and payment costs visible rather than folded into a flat number. If a quote you're comparing doesn't do that, ask why.
